What is there to do in Conneaut?

Do some bird watching at our bird sanctuary and lagoon. Enjoy a day on the sandbar in the harbor area. Tour the covered bridges, enjoy the Conneaut section of the Wines and Vines Trail. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, venture out to Raceway 7 for some exciting home-grown racing. Drive into our portion of Amish Country and shop along the way. Visit the Alpaca Farm, take in the historic Octagon House and the Train Museum. Bring your golf clubs for a round at a nearby course! Bring along your bike and enjoy the many back roads and or cycle along the lake front. Be sure to catch a sunset along the way!

Try the famous White Turkey from Mother's Day through Labor Day, the DQ or Pat's Grill in Township Park for a tasty traditional frosty treat or one of the many fine eating establishes that are found in the downtown area of our city. Pack a picnic lunch with goodies from our local grocery store or grab some carry out to take to any of our lovely parks. Lots of tastes abound including everything from fine dining experiences to casual eateries.
